The Challenge

To reward our fans with an exciting contest while wishing them Selamat Hari Raya in a fresh way by creating an online balik kampung experience.

The Solution

We recreated the experience of a balik kampung journey with interactive checkpoints reflecting all the little moments that make Raya special like the baju raya, food, ketupat and visiting the relatives.

How It Works

These little stories or games were built into 9 checkpoints or milestones; upon the successful completion of each milestone challenge (for example: count the ketupats!) a badge was awarded to each user.

We also threw in a Raya quiz and simple interactions like liking, sharing, or sending a Raya greeting to really get the Raya mood going!

At the end of each checkpoint experience, a badge of accomplishment is generated, letting users share their achievements via their Facebook account, while creating awareness.

The Result

We garnered 31,000 visits accumulating 135,000 page views on the way, with users spending an average of 5 minutes on-site with 40% coming back for more, making our Raya experience super syok!
